Responsible declaration of those attending events

The Princess of Asturias Foundation will provide information on all the measures adopted for the prevention of COVID-19. These measures form part of the general prevention plan presented to the Directorate General of Public Health of the Principality of Asturias.

Confirmation of attendance at the cultural events surrounding the presentation of the 2020 Princess of Asturias Awards entails assuming that, due to the current circumstances derived from the health crisis, the activities are not without a certain risk.

Attendees agree to:

  • Not participate in the events if they suffer from symptoms compatible with COVID-19 (cough, respiratory distress, temperature above 37° or other compatible symptoms) or if they have not completed the period of isolation due to a diagnosed illness, or if they are in a period of home quarantine for having come into contact with someone with symptoms of or diagnosed with COVID-19.
  • Maintain a safe distance at all times and avoid any unnecessary contact with the rest of the public present.
  • Attend the event provided with a mask and use it correctly at all times, covering their mouth, nose and chin.
  • Comply with the established order for entering and exiting, respecting the queue and keeping the safety distance.
  • Carry at all times and not damage the contact registration device should it be provided to them at the entrance and hand it over on leaving.
  • Respect the rules established by the organization to guarantee people’s health, as well as the signs regarding entrances and exits and safety distances.
  • Stay in the indicated spaces and comply with hygiene and personal prevention measures.
  • Maximize and rigorously maintain the protection measures indicated by their reference healthcare professional if they have health conditions that make them especially vulnerable to COVID-19 (cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, chronic lung diseases, cancer, immunosuppression or arterial hypertension).
