The Princess of Asturias Foundation will premiere an audiovisual piece recording Meryl Streep's meeting with the public on the occasion of the Princess of Asturias Award for the Arts
The recording of this meeting, which included the participation of Antonio Banderas, will be available on the Foundation's YouTube channel and on the CaixaForum+ digital platform starting 25th February

The Princess of Asturias Foundation will premiere an audiovisual piece featuring the meeting that 2023 Princess of Asturias Laureate for the Arts Meryl Streep held with the public at the Oviedo Exhibition and Congress Centre, in which the actor Antonio Banderas also participated.
Entitled “Unscripted. A Meeting with Meryl Streep”, the Laureate, one of the most acclaimed actresses of all time, shares her memories, joys and disappointments in this conversation upon receiving the Princess of Asturias Award for the Arts. Between smiles and confessions, both actors reveal their vision of their profession and reflect on fame and the passing of time.
Recorded as part of the Awards Week, this audiovisual will be available starting 25th February on the Foundation's YouTube channel and on the CaixaForum+ digital platform.
CaixaForum+
CaixaForum+ is a multi-device platform which can be viewed on mobile phones, tablets, smart TVs and web browsers. It has been developed by the “la Caixa” Foundation with the aim of disseminating cultural and scientific content which is accessible to all kinds of audiences in different audiovisual formats via a free subscription.
As part of this initiative, the Princess of Asturias Foundation has selected audiovisual materials related to its Awards for CaixaForum+. Via the platform, users can access the Award Ceremonies for 1981 and 2019; the Anthem of Asturias, performed without an audience by the City of Oviedo Royal Bagpipe Band at the Campoamor Theatre on the occasion of the 2020 Princess of Asturias Awards; the “Princess of Asturias Awards. 40 years recognizing values” video; both episodes of the “Gloria Steinem. Feminism in Motion” podcast; the video of the “The Beauty of the Husband” poetry recital; and the “Marjane Satrapi, the Artist who Sketched Iran” podcast, among other material.
Since its launch, CaixaForum+ has made a list of programmes available to users which includes about 600 titles with more than 1000 viewing hours. The platform's content includes series, podcasts, documentaries, films, digital art, educational programmes, interviews, concerts and operas, all organized around nine themes comprising the visual and plastic arts, performing arts, music, literature, history and philosophy, cinema, architecture and design, life sciences and physical sciences.
