"Many thanks to the Jury, to the Prince of Asturias Foundation, to Asturias and to all the people of Spain for an Award that is very important for this University and for Mexico as a country.
We are just about to start celebrating the festivities for the centenary of the UNAM, which is an offspring of the University of Salamanca and, hence, it is very important for the two countries and yet another bond that unites us".
