Statement by Gloria Steinem, following the conferral of the 2021 Princess of Asturias Award for Communication and Humanities

“I am grateful to the Princess of Asturias Foundation and its jury for lifting up the scientific, cultural, social and humanitarian work that makes our world a better place. I am humbled to be honored. After a difficult year for us all, I look forward to coming together again in celebration and community.”
