Visiting our website does not imply that users are obliged to provide any information about themselves. In the event that the user provides personal information of some kind, the data collected on this website will be used for the purpose, in the manner and with the limitations and rights stated in EU Regulation 2019/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regula-tion) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the protection of personal data and the guaran-tee of digital rights).

The data provided by users will be included in files of a personal nature which will be held in Spanish territo-ry by the data controller for said files, namely The Princess of Asturias Foundation.

Users who provide personal data unequivocally consent to the inclusion of their data in such files, which contain information of a personal nature, the data controller of which is the Princess of Asturias Founda-tion, as well as to the computerised or partially automated treatment of said data so that they may be used by the Princess of Asturias Foundation for the purpose of managing any relationships it may establish. Once the relationship with the user has ceased, The Princess of Asturias Foundation may retain such data for the period of limitation established by law to meet the responsibilities that may arise from the processing of data already carried out. Likewise, users guarantee and are responsible, in each and any case, for the truth-fulness, accuracy, validity and authenticity of the personal data provided and undertake to keep such data duly updated.

The Princess of Asturias Foundation is authorised by the user to make use of the personal data it has at its disposal and to submit such data to the processing required for it to carry out its institutional activities, reserving the right to erase all the personal data of users not meeting the criteria for the carrying out of its specific activities.

In the event that the information collected is used for a purpose other than that for which it was gathered or collected, this will require the prior consent of those concerned.

No data provided will be passed on to third parties without previously seeking the consent of the person concerned.

The Princess of Asturias Foundation has adopted the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and integrity of such information, as well as to prevent its alteration, loss or unauthor-ized treatment or access.

Users may revoke their consent at any time, without retroactive effect, and may freely exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition and portability of their data under the terms indicated in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural per-sons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free circulation of such data (European Data Protection Regulation) and in Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the protection of personal data and guarantee of digital rights, in accordance with the legally established procedure. These rights may be exercised by writing to the Princess of Asturias Foundation at Calle Plácido Arango Arias 2 – 1º, 33004 – Oviedo, Principado de Asturias, Spain, enclosing a copy of the interested party’s ID or to the email address info@fpa.es, in which case the email must be digitally signed to prove said person’s identity.

When collecting data, the voluntary or mandatory nature of the responses will be indicated. Refusal to pro-vide data specified as being mandatory will result in the non-provision of the requested service or infor-mation. Moreover, data may be given on a voluntary basis in order to provide the demanded service or requested information in the best way possible

Should users of this website be required to provide their email address in order to access some of the re-quested services or information, they may indicate that they do not wish to receive any communication whatsoever that The Princess of Asturias Foundation might send them. The Princess of Asturias Foundation will place at the disposal of those users who have subscribed to any kind of mailing list within the scope of this website the appropriate instruments to unsubscribe from such a list.
