Data Controller

Visiting our website does not imply that users are obliged to provide any information about themselves. In the event that the user provides personal information of some kind, the data collected on this website will be used for the purpose, in the manner and with the limitations and rights stated in General Data Protection Regulation 2019/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the protection of personal data and guarantee of digital rights.

The data provided by users will be stored in personal files whose Data Controller is the Princess of Asturias Foundation, being kept in Spanish territory by the aforementioned controller.

Users who provide personal data unequivocally consent to the inclusion of such data in the files, which contain information of a personal nature, the data controller of which is the Princess of Asturias Foundation, as well as to the computerised or partially automated treatment of such information so that it may be used by the Princess of Asturias Foundation for the purpose of sending information on activities of an institutional, cultural and any other nature undertaken by the Princess of Asturias Foundation. Once the relationship with the user has ceased, the Princess of Asturias Foundation may retain such data for the period of limitation established by law to meet the responsibilities that may arise from the processing of data already carried out.

Purpose

The Princess of Asturias Foundation is authorized by the user to make use of the personal data it has at its disposal and to submit such data to the necessary processing for it to carry out its institutional activities, reserving the right to erase all the personal data of users not meeting the criteria for the carrying out of its institutional or corporate activities.

Legitimation

In the event that the information collected is used for a purpose other than that for which it was gathered or collected, this will require the prior consent of those concerned.

The data collected will not be passed on without obtaining prior consent from the person concerned or unless said transfer of data is authorized by law or is undertaken as a result of constituting another of the alleged exceptions of consent referred to in Organic Law 15/1999 regarding the Protection of Personal Data.

The Princess of Asturias Foundation has adopted the necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the security and integrity of such information, as well as to prevent its alteration, loss or unauthorized treatment or access.

Rights

Users may rescind their consent at any time without retroactive effect and freely exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition and portability of their data under the terms stated in General Data Protection Regulation 2019/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the protection of personal data and guarantee of digital rights, in accordance with the legally established procedure. These rights may be exercised by writing to the Princess of Asturias Foundation at Calle Plácido Arango Arias, 2 – 1º, 33004 – Oviedo (Principado de Asturias), including a copy of your ID, or by sending an email to , in which case your mail must be digitally signed so as to prove your identity.

When collecting data, the voluntary or mandatory nature of the responses will be indicated. Refusal to provide data specified as being mandatory will suppose the non-provision of the requested service or information. Moreover, data may be given on a voluntary basis in order to provide the demanded service or requested information in the best way possible.

Should users of this website be required to provide their email address in order to access some of the requested services or information, they may indicate that they do not wish to receive any communication whatsoever that the Princess of Asturias Foundation might wish to send them. The Princess of Asturias Foundation will place at the disposal of those users who have subscribed to any kind of mailing list within the scope of this website the appropriate instruments to unsubscribe from such a list.
