44 Princess of Asturias Foundation ANNUAL REPORT 2023 PRINCESS OF ASTURIAS AWARDS. AWARDS WEEK La Fundación convocó la octava edición del programa cultural para centros educativos del Principado de Asturias, «Toma la palabra». Esta iniciativa, que tiene por objeto trasladar a las aulas la obra y trayectoria de los galardonados, incluyó nueve propuestas vinculadas a las ocho categorías de los Premios, que estuvieron destinadas a las etapas de Primaria, Secundaria, Bachillerato y Formación Profesional. Se recibieron 5898 trabajos que registraron 9861 participaciones de alumnos de 128 centros educativos. Como cierre de la actividad, algunos de los premiados a cuyas trayectorias estuvo dedicado el programa mantuvieron durante su estancia en Asturias diversos encuentros con representaciones de los alumnos y sus docentes. The Foundation convened the eighth edition of the “Taking the Floor” cultural programme for schools in the Principality of Asturias. This initiative, which aims to bring the work and careers of the Laureates into the classroom, included nine proposals related to the eight different categories of the Awards targeted at primary, secondary, baccalaureate and vocational training pupils. In all, 5898 projects were received, registering 9861 participations from students from 128 schools. To close the activity, some of the Laureates whose careers the programme was dedicated to held various meetings with delegations of the students and their teachers during their stay in Asturias.
