MEMORIA 2015 OTRAS ACTIVIDADES. ÁREA MUSICAL
Colaboraciones con orquestas
El Coro participó en el Ciclo de Conciertos del
Auditorio con
Parsifal
, de Wagner, bajo la dirección
del maestro ruso Valery Gerguiev y junto a la
Orquesta del Teatro Mariinski de San Petesburgo.
Con la Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias
interpretó
Un réquiem alemán, op. 45
, de Brahms, en
los Conciertos Extraordinarios de Semana Santa, en
Oviedo y Gijón. Además, intervino en el XXIII Otoño
Musical Soriano, junto a la Orquesta Sinfónica de
Bilbao, dirigidos por Karl Sollak.
Joven Coro
El Joven Coro abrió el año con un concierto
en la Plaza de Cibeles durante la Cabalgata
de los Reyes Magos de Madrid y lo cerró en el
Hospital Universitario de Asturias con motivo del
reconocimiento de los voluntarios en la lucha
contra el cáncer. Además, la Fundación organizó
el IV Encuentro de Jóvenes Coros de Asturias en el
Auditorio Príncipe Felipe de Oviedo.
Collaborations with orchestras
The Choir participated in the Auditorium Concert
Series, performing Wagner’s
Parsifal
, under the baton
of Russian maestro Valery Gerguiev, alongside
the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra from St Petersburg.
Alongside the Symphony Orchestra of Asturias
(OSPA), it sang A
German Requiem
, Op. 45, by
Brahms, at the Special Easter Concerts in Oviedo and
Gijón. The Choir also took part in the 33rd Musical
Autumn Festival in Soria, alongside the Bilbao
Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Karl Sollak.
Youth Choir
The Youth Choir opened the year with a concert
in Plaza de Cibeles during the traditional Parade of
the Three Wise Men in Madrid and closed the year
at the University Hospital of Asturias on the occasion
of an event in recognition of volunteers in the fight
against cancer. The Foundation also organized
the 4th Meeting of Youth Choirs in Asturias
at the Prince Felipe Auditorium in Oviedo.
