MEMORIA 2015 PREMIO AL PUEBLO EJEMPLAR DE ASTURIAS
el Ayuntamiento de Castropol, cuya comunidad
vecinal recibió en 1997 el Premio al Pueblo Ejemplar
de Asturias. El acto contó con las intervenciones de
Luis Alfonso Pérez García, gerente de Asturias Apícola,
y de Antonio García Allut, director ejecutivo de la
Fundación Lonxanet. Posteriormente se realizó un
recorrido por el pueblo. Tras el almuerzo, los asistentes
al encuentro visitaron el Club de Mar y disfrutaron de
un paseo en lancha por la ría.
Exposición fotográfica: “25 años de pueblos
ejemplares”
La localidad de Boal albergó en el mes de julio una
exposición dedicada a los 25 pueblos, localidades y
comunidades vecinales que han recibido este galardón.
La exposición incluyó una selección de imágenes y
textos significativos en la historia de este premio,
anotaciones acerca de la relación de los pueblos
ejemplares con la gastronomía asturiana así como
información de carácter general sobre la Fundación
Princesa de Asturias, los actos en torno a la ceremonia
de entrega de Premios y las actividades del Área
Musical. Esta misma exposición se pudo ver en el mes
de mayo en el Recinto Ferial de Tineo con motivo
de la celebración de la Feria de Muestras.

with Castropol Town Hall. The neighbourhood
association of this locality won the 1997 Exemplary
Town of Asturias Award. The event included speeches
by Luis Alfonso Pérez García, manager of Asturias
Apícola, and Antonio Garcia Allut, executive director
of the Lonxanet Foundation. Those attending the
meeting then toured the town and, after lunch,
visited the Club de Mar rowing club to enjoy a boat
ride on the estuary.
Photo exhibition: “25 Years of Exemplary Towns”
In July, the town of Boal hosted an exhibition
on the 25 towns, villages and neighbourhood
communities that have received this award. The
exhibition included a selection of significant photos
and texts in the history of this award, comments
on the relationship between the exemplary towns
and Asturian cuisine, as well as general information
on the Princess of Asturias Foundation, the events
surrounding the Awards Ceremony and the activities
of the Music Department. This same exhibition
could be seen in May at the Tineo Showgrounds
during the holding of the Tineo Show.
