XXIV Concierto Premios Princesa de Asturias
S.M. el Rey presidió el XXIV Concierto Premios
Princesa de Asturias, organizado por la Fundación en
colaboración con la Fundación Cajastur Liberbank,
la víspera de la entrega de los galardones en el
Auditorio Príncipe Felipe. En el concierto participó,
por vez primera, la Orquesta Oviedo Filarmonía,
dirigida por su titular, el maestro italiano Marzio
Conti, que, junto al Coro de la Fundación y con la
participación del tenor Ramón Vargas y el barítono
David Menéndez, interpretaron la
Misa de Gloria
de
Puccini.
24th Princess of Asturias Awards Concert
TM The King and Queen presided over the 24th
Princess of Asturias Awards Concert, organized by
the Princess of Asturias Foundation in collaboration
with the Cajastur Liberbank Foundation in the
Prince Felipe Auditorium the evening before the
Awards Ceremony. For the first time ever, the Oviedo
Filarmonía Orchestra took part in the concert under
the baton of its principal conductor, Italian maestro
Marzio Conti. Together with the Foundation Choir,
they performed Puccini’s
Messa di Gloria
, featuring
tenor Ramón Vargas and baritone David Menéndez.

25 años de Los Virtuosos de Moscú en Asturias
Un cuarteto de cuerda integrado por componentes
fundadores de Los Virtuosos de Moscú ofreció un
pequeño concierto en la reunión anual de SS.MM.
los Reyes con los patronatos de la Fundación en el
Palacio Real de El Pardo, coincidiendo con los 25
años de la llegada de la formación al Principado.
25 years of The Moscow Virtuosi in Asturias
A string quartet made up of founder members of The
Moscow Virtuosi gave a small concert at the annual
meeting between Their Majesties The King and Queen
and the Trustees of the Foundation at the Royal Palace
of El Pardo, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of
the arrival of these musicians in the Principality of
Asturias.
