MEMORIA 2015 PREMIOS PRINCESA DE ASTURIAS. ORGANIZACIÓN
Convocatoria
Una vez celebrada la ceremonia de entrega
de los Premios de 2014, la Fundación convocó
la trigésimo quinta edición que inauguró la nueva
denominación de los galardones tras la proclamación
de S.M. el Rey Felipe VI. Se distribuyeron más de
2.500 ejemplares del Reglamento de los Premios,
editado en cinco idiomas, y se enviaron más de 750
invitaciones electrónicas para presentar candidaturas.
Por segundo año consecutivo se envió una carpeta
especial con material adicional sobre la Fundación
y los Premios, que se hizo llegar a casi un centenar
de personalidades de algunas de las universidades,
medios de comunicación e instituciones más
destacadas del mundo.
Reuniones de los jurados
Los Jurados encargados de conceder los Premios
Princesa de Asturias 2015 se reunieron durante
los meses de mayo, junio y septiembre en Oviedo.
Estuvieron integrados por 145 personalidades,
especialistas en los respectivos ámbitos que cubren
cada uno de los galardones, a excepción
del de la Concordia, constituido por miembros
de los patronatos de la Fundación.

Jury Meetings
The Juries responsible for granting the 2015 Princess
of Asturias Awards met in Oviedo in May, June and
September. They were made up of a total of 145
experts in each of the areas covered by the Awards,
except for the Jury for the Award for Concord, which
was composed of members of the Foundation’s
Boards of Trustees.

Call for Nominations
Once the 2014 Awards Ceremony had been held,
the Foundation convened the 35th edition of
the Awards under their new name, following the
proclamation of HM King Felipe VI. Over 2,500
copies of the Regulations governing the Awards,
edited in five languages, were sent out and around
750 invitations to submit nominations were
emailed. For the second year running, a special
dossier containing additional material on
the Foundation and its Awards was sent out to
nearly a hundred prominent figures belonging
to a number of universities, the media and leading
institutions worldwide.
